El Paso deserves ballet, but it has not had a consistent professional ballet company since 1997.
Other cities comparable in size with El Paso that have professional ballet companies include Boston, Baltimore, Denver, Milwaukee, Nashville, and Seattle. There is no professional ballet company within 250 miles of our city.
EPCB not only improves quality of life for El Paso residents, it also provides dancers with a local company they can remain loyal to, ensuring that jobs and talent stay in town. Donor level benefits suit a wide variety of corporate and individual contributors. Your tax-deductible contribution solidifies your commitment to the arts and promotes greater development for El Paso. "Ballet is qualitative entertainment. It's important that young people have an exposure to things with a deeper dimension. I recommend that the El Paso community support El Paso City Ballet." (Edward Villella, CEO of Miami City Ballet, recipient of the Presidential Medal of Arts, and widely recognized as the greatest American male ballet dancer)
El Paso City Ballet is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We will provide a letter acknowledging your donation for tax filing purposes.
